The social implications of technologies had become paramount, if not unavoidable. The distanciation characteristic of these techno-social arrangements produces a new insight to social welfare aid...which has marked the adoption of AmBank-MyKasih Community Programme partnered by two organisations, namely the AmBank Group and MyKasih Foundation, supported by the Dialog Group.

Advances in technology change what needs to be done and the way in which we operate. Technology is about improving people's lives. Can technology be leveraged on to provide food aid to those in need? The payment solutions platform is supported by a leading edge technology to ensure a more efficient and credible  delivery of welfare aid to the recipients. It is ensured that the funds donated will be channeled in full to the recipients via the usage of MyKad - Malaysia's National Identity Card.

Using MyKad, selected recipients can have the opportunity to shop for their groceries, comprised of basic food items at our partnering retail store. Each families will receive RM20 per week for a year. Following that, there will also be financial literacy classes, skills training and other consultation sessions with the families conducted mostly by our group of volunteers; if not, professional trainers.
